A number of Spanish newspapers brings today the story that 1600 MusiCure CDs will be awarded for the treatment of hospitalized children at a number of Spanish hospitals, marking the anniversary of the founding of the World Health Organization in 1948. The distribution of this donation takes place in cooperation with the TV station Antena3, World helath Day Foundation, SEUR Foundation and Sony Music Spain.

New release for download: "MusiCure - single". A new original track, only available digitally for download on iTunes, Amazon, etc.
The piece is simply entitled "MusiCure" and has a running time of approx. 7 minutes. The music on this "MusiCure" single track seeks to concentrate the 'essence' of the MusiCure concept and portrays a magical forest atmosphere with birds, and with the oboe and harp as soloists.

The article refer and links to the article “School-aged children’s experiences of postoperative music medicine on pain, distress, and anxiety” by Stefan Nilsson, Ulrica Nilsson et al., published in 2009 in the American journal “Pediatric Anesthesia” and describing how specially designed music (MusiCure) could reduce children's use of morphine during the post-operative phase.

1.)Reduction of anxiety by 50% in 'music group' compared with 'control group' who did not listen to the music
2.)Large increase in comfort in the ‘music group ', measured in relation to' control group '.
